LTR Brands by Tiffany Parros is made entirely of organic bamboo thread, colored with organic dyes, then cut, sewn, and printed at a Los Angeles factory. The benefits of using bamboo go beyond just being "green": the fibers of the bamboo plant are naturally porous, so they absorb moisture, and wick it away from the skin, keeping you cooler and drier than synthetic materials or cotton. Bamboo fabrics alos retain their anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, even after fifty plus washes! Makes you wonder why everone doesn't use bamboo!

About Tiffany Parros – Designer, LTR Brands

LTR Brands is the latest collection of women’s apparel to emerge out of Los Angeles and hit the ground running! However, the creator and designer, Tiffany Parros, didn’t start her beguiling career on the west coast.

Parros, who is married to  Anaheim Ducks “all rounder”, George Parros, originally hails from rural Wisconsin. Her father, an inventor and pilot, made sure his family of six children explored and enjoyed there vast property with a paintball field, go cart track, atv’s and a batting cage to boot!

While attending boarding school, this was the era that sparked her interest in creating and designing clothes. Parros says, “This ‘hobby’ started out of necessity!” She wanted to wear what she, at the time, couldn’t afford and surrounded by the other young boarders from different countries and diverse “label” exposure.

Parros traveled abroad to Europe for two years in her early 20’s, where she investigated long and hard the little “off the beaten track” boutiques, mixed and matched pieces and started experimenting. Upon returning a couple of years later,  she quickly retained clients aka friends who wanted her “look” and aesthetic. A few night classes at Academy of Couture Art in West Hollywood thrown in to polish off her technique and she never looked back……….

Parros settled into a beach community just a few minutes from urban Los Angeles, therefore she understands the necessity for casual/comfort pieces plus the additive of chic “city life” prêt-a porter - transitional day to night looks without effort. This she has mastered with the LTR Brands.

LTR Brands lovingly works with eco friendly materials. Designer, Parros, believes that this medium of design is where the future is and rightly so should be directed. Obviously no one can be 100% eco-friendly, but when one is given the easy choice/option of wearing and living in something that is better for you, as a designer you feel like that you are creating great figure flattering designs with a conscience. Now that’s an unbeatable combination.

With Parros’ extensive travel and eco friendly design championed, she also reworks vintage pieces, not in the oversaturated, competitive way that is done, so tried and tested, but she uses varied styles and motifs all reworked with her signature pattern as the common denominator.
